Valvula Lapiz ó de Orificio NEGRO ORIFICE TUBE (2 O-rings, Evaporator Mounted, Dia: 0.072)

The orifice used on all current Ford and General Motors vehicles, and some foreign makes, perform the same function as the expansion valve but have a different configuration. The orifice tube creates the necessary pressure drop by metering a steady flow of refrigerant while the compressor is operating. Orifice tubes are mounted on the inlet side of the evaporator.
